Presenters

ITAG invites you: Gifted and Talented resource teachers, classroom teachers, parents, coordinators, and administrators to present successful practices and significant issues and theories related to serving the varied needs of gifted and talented students.We have keynote speakers Dr. Paul Slocumb and Dr. Bertie Kingore. Now we need you to join in and complete the picture for addressing comprehensive programming.

A call for presenters contract is available below.

Sponsors and Exhibitors

Exhibit space is available on a first come-first served basis. Exhibit space is available at $250 per space for commercial vendors and $175 per space for nonprofit vendors. The exhibit space is an 8 ft x 10 ft floor space furnished with one skirted 8 ft table, two chairs, a wastebasket, and one standard sign. Electricity, Internet, and Phone are available. There is an additional charge for these services, payable to the hotel. A price schedule is available upon request. Exhibitors are responsible for setting up, attending the booth, and removing all materials. Insurance is the responsibility of the exhibitor.

Door prizes are welcomed, i.e., a gift certificate or a sample of your product. If you are unable to attend, please consider sending a door prize anyway.

General Information

The 36th annual Iowa Talented and Gifted Conference will be held October 6-7, 2008 at the Corallville Marriott Hotel and Conference Center. Over 400 Iowa educators, parents, students and interested parties are expected to attend this highly respected conference.

2008 Young Scholars’ Conference

The 2008 Young Scholars’ Program will be held Monday, October 27, 2008 at Clarke College in Dubuque, Iowa.
